Blue Whale
The blue whale is the biggest living creature on earth and even it’s calf is 7.5 metres and they are the loudest animal on earth too. The whale can be 100 metres and their weight is about 30 elephants. If a whale was living in the wild it would live for 80/90 years. When the blue whale want to sleep, half of the brain goes to sleep and the other half makes it keep on swimming. It eats 150 tons of krill everyday (that is how they are heavy). Their tounge alone equals one elephant. When the blue whale is running it goes 30 miles per hour. When the blue whale is hungry it swallows water and then takes all the swallowed water out and leaves the krills to eat. Some of the location of blue whale is in antarctica, the north atlantic, north pacific ocean and the indian ocean.
Killer Whale
The Killer whale is one of the biggest predators on earth. Killer whale are also called orcas. Killer whales hunt fish, walruses, seals, sea lions, penguin, squid, sea turtles and sharks. They eat 227 kilograms of food a day. They chase, bite, and wear it down until it becomes weak enough for them to feast on. Killer whales don’t stay in one area because they go all around the world.
